Helicopter excursions from Capri

Capri, elected residence of more than one Roman emperor and obligatory port of call for travelers participating in the Grand Tour, famous refuge of writers and Russian exiles, steeped in natural and historic wonders. SAM Helicopters has created 5 excursions with which to explore the island and the surrounding area from on high, all of which depart from the heliport of Damecuta in Anacapri. Flights last for circa 50 minutes. Maximum 4 passengers per flight.

Tour of Capri

Admire the treasures of the island from above, flying over the ancient imperial residences of Damecuta and Villa Jovis, the Faraglioni rocks, the Natural Arch, and the impressive bulk of Monte Solaro. From Capri, just a few minutes are all that are required to reach the Amalfi Coast and the historic sea-edge towns of Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento.

An itinerary discovering the ancient splendors of the Campania region, with departure from Capri and flight over Sorrento and the archaeological sites of Pompei and Herculaneum. The highlight of the trip is, without doubt, Caserta, and the sight of the Royal Palace, realized by the architect Luigi Vanvitelli in 1751 for King Charles III of Spain, from on high.
