Alternative Procedures

The Design Organisation Approval allows Hoverfly to design and obtain approval from the EASA for modifications necessary for the installation of equipment not foreseen by the helicopter manufacturer. The first STC (Supplement Type Certificate) regards the installation of technology for the acquisition of digital images which, via dedicated software, allows for the analysis of the images taken and for their sending, in real time, to a remote station. To date, more than 50 approved modifications have been developed.
